All pressure sensors and filters can be replaced in as little as 10 minutes in the field, allowing for maximum flexibility and eliminating the need for back-to-base servicing and calibration.
GEM PRO is able to monitor up to three gasses (CH4, CO2 and O2) at any one time within +/-0.3-0.5%, and is the first portable gas analyser to feature seven module bays. Operators can easily view key performance and analysis data at a glance through GEM PRO’s responsive touchscreen interface. Anti-glare coating and additional hard keys ensure that the solution can be used effectively in all operating conditions.
The device is specially designed to minimise downtime for operators working in the field. An improved 10-hour battery life allows the unit to be used continually throughout the day, without the need to structure routines around recharging. If necessary, the user can easily replace the battery in the field, allowing work to continue without disruption.
Should operators wish to expand their gas monitoring capabilities further down the line, new modules are able to be shipped in as little as 24 hours and fitted by the user in just 10 minutes without the need for any extra calibration, cutting upgrade costs by as much as 70%.
User experience and accessibility is at the heart of the i-Q series’ design. All devices are equipped with an intuitive touchscreen display featuring tile-based icons for ease-of-use, alongside physical keys for alternative operation if desired. This new interface allows operators to make effective use of instruments with minimal training.
Viewing critical data at a glance is key when operating in the field. The i-Q series has been designed with this in mind, incorporating a new dedicated system pressure port to improve reading and process times. Moreover, the Affinity Bluetooth device promotes full backwards compatibility with existing accessories such as temperature and humidity probes, and anemometers, for the ultimate pick-up-and-play solution.
